A PRS (Performing Rights Society) Licence is the licence required in order to play copyrighted music for anything other than your own listening pleasure. In other words, if you want to play music in your business, you need to have the permission of the owner to do so.
The Performing Rights Society represents these interests and paying for a licence provides the clearance you need to play music publicly. If copyrighted music is played in a commercial environment, it is the responsibility of the company playing the music to obtain a PRS licence.

You can, but when it comes to selecting the voice and music for your productions, we always recommend using a voiceover artist and music track that matches your brand and the image your business portrays to its customers. You can view our range of voiceover artists and music samples on the voice and music selector page to give you an understanding of what might work for you.
Yes, all our scripts can be written by the finest copywriters in the industry. Each prompt and script is written with care and expertise, taking into account your business, your customers and not least your brand image. Alternatively, if you wish to write the script, our team of copywriters can advise on your prompts and script.
We recommend each prompt to be succinct, and no more than 15 seconds in length. This gives your company sufficient time to get your message across to the caller, keeping them interested with music interspersed between prompts. You can of course have prompts that are longer, it’s up to you, but we will always advise you on best practice.
When changing your message, it can occasionally be appropriate to change the music bed and freshen up the production. However, changing the music on a regular basis can have an adverse affect and dilute the audio brand that you first aimed to establish.
We recommend changing the music bed on an occasional basis, used in the main part to freshen up your production.
