Mental Health Awareness Week: Taking care of yourself with Dr Jill Collett

This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, and there’s never been a more important time for us all to consider how we’re taking care of ourselves. While it’s easy to be anxious or worried, there are lots of positive actions we can all take to stay positive – and good habits we can develop take care of our mental health.

At PHMG, we’re proud to have just released the latest edition of our company magazine Sound Bites – which aptly, is the Mind, Body and Soul issue. Packed full of advice on how to feel good inside and out, it’s a shining example of how our staff have united. And as well as employee contributions, it also features invaluable advice from the renowned Dr Jill Collett.

A renowned business psychologist and leading professional in the field of self-care, Jill has trained at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre – and is dedicated to helping introduce mindfulness techniques to people in their work and home lives. She’s lent her expertise on how to look after your mental health, and we’re proud to share her valuable advice.  

In the last few weeks, we’ve all been dealing with a surreal situation, which at times felt the world was holding its breath. While this has meant it’s sometimes been difficult to stay productive and positive, it’s also created a good opportunity to develop healthy habits that will help us now, and in the future.
