We’re recruiting for a professional, personable Account Manager to work with a demanding set of clients who’ve recently renewed their agreement with PHMG. You’ll speak with key contacts from companies across North America and the UK, offering expert audio branding advice, processing production updates, and assisting clients in getting the most from their service – ensuring their unique requirements are always met.

This role is made for a true people person – an expert in relationship management who’s adept at liaising with professionals at every level. You’ll have proven experience working with B2B customers, as well as exceptional communication, problem solving and organisational skills. Plus, you’ll have the initiative to handle any potential issues – remaining ever empathetic to our clients’ needs while respecting our needs, too.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing demanding post-tentative clients with world-class service and support by telephone and email
  • Managing your clients’ production renewals when required, encouraging, facilitating and overseeing regular updates
  • Working closely with our Copy, Production and Sales teams to deliver effective solutions that meet our clients’ needs
  • Providing expert audio branding advice and guidance that brings value to clients
  • Resolving any issues presented by our clients in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintaining clear, concise and up-to-date client records
  • Building valuable relationships with clients and internal departments, and maintaining strong communication channels with all
  • Employing deep knowledge of PHMG products and services to help us retain clients, and, where appropriate, increase their value to the company
  • Ensuring that clients get the most from their PHMG audio branding service

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally with B2B clients
  • Effective personal organisation skills; self-starter with drive, ambition and creativity
  • An understanding of the fast-moving B2B market
  • Highly organised, methodical and dedicated to first-class customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills – you’re enthusiastic and know how to interact with a team and clients
  • Strong initiative – you’re motivated by targets and tight deadlines
  • Good listening and writing skills and an ability to speak articulately and confidently
  • The ability to identify and exploit potential vertical sales opportunities and close the deal
  • A constant positive outlook when faced with complex client issues
  • Expertise with all standard PC software and CRM databases
