Web Developer

The Web Developer’s role is to assist with the design and implementation of PHMG’s internal and external web presence. This includes collaborating with our world-class marketing team to identify requirements, before building and rolling out web-based solutions to internal users and our public-facing web assets. You’ll be part of a team responsible for ensuring our brand is represented to the highest quality and our digital assets maintain high levels of usability.

We require an individual with the unique technical skills to excel in a role of this nature. You’ll have experience developing and optimising web-based applications, along with a thorough insight into the programmes and technology necessary for this. And on top of this, you’ll be an expert communicator with excellent interpersonal and meticulous project management skills.

Key responsibilities

Required technical skills in:

  • HTML5, CSS, Jquery, Javascript, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, AJAX, Responsive design (bootstrap), accessibility, cross browser testing, testing and verifying own and others code, Sitefinity, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office, TFS or Git, LESS/SASS, and Typescript
  • Experience with Domain name registration and web hosting services

Desired technical skills in:

  • SEO, Microsoft Visual Studio/Visual Code, npm, Node.js, Photoshop, and SQL Serve

Required soft skills:

  • Communication skills including active listening, presentation and excellent writing capabilities. You’ll possess the ability to explain technical concepts to co-workers lacking in the same level of technical knowledge
  • The ability to quickly pick up new technologies and adjust to business changes
  • Keen organisation, planning
